Are your emails not hitting your target audience or not hitting the views you want to achieve? This doesn’t necessarily mean that your emails are wrong, but there are some things you can do to make your emails more noticeable and therefore get the statistics you want.
Nailing the Subject Line
If you put a lot of words in the subject line, most people will not even read a little bit of it and will skip the email altogether. Keeping the subject line short and sweet helps to capture your audience’s attention and prompts them to read the email. It is recommended that you should have subject lines less than 50 characters.
Personalize Beyond the Name
Your goal should be to learn more about your audience than just their name. Learning more about your audience aids you in creating emails that target your audience’s preferences and behaviors better. A great way to do this is by including personalized recommendations or content based on past interactions.
Make it Visually Appealing
You want to make your email visually appealing to capture your audience’s eye, but you don’t want to do it to the point you’re overwhelming them and they miss the important content of the email. So where’s the happy medium? You should try to leave some white space to make the email easy to scan through and only use pictures that are relevant to the information in the email.
